Aisha Jamila hinds is a well-known American actress. The actress is well known for the roles she played in shows on television like The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has shown her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to attract her notice. The performance she made in the biographical film All the Way as the Women's Right advocate Fannie Lou Hammer brought her into the limelight to the attention of the general public. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season. Hind just wrapped production on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters that will be released in the middle of 2019.
