Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actress. The actress Abigail Spencer was a famous American actress. Born on August 4 the 4th of August, 1981. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actor who is active in television as well as in films. Her fame was boosted by roles she played in drama show Rectify. Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a role in the soap-opera All My Children. It was for her outstanding performance that she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award. She mainly appeared in guest roles throughout the span of several years. The character she played was the Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne was praised by the audience. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and extraordinary acting talents made her an ideal candidate for a loyal fan base. Her first film appearance came when she was around 20 years old, playing a role in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks are other films where she starred. In recognition of her performance in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. The main character in Timeless will be Lucy Preston, history professor. Spencer was awarded a Teen Choice Award nomination and is also being praised for her work in the series by critics.
