Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American boy band
that specializes in pop music. The band was created in 2009. The group is
comprised of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos
PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia
Records transferred them to their new label. The group was featured in
Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th,
2009 until July 25 in 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's first promo
single, "Big Time Rush". The band has released three albums,
including BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven in 2013. The group in
2014 stopped performing for an indefinite period which lasted until 2021. They
then returned to live shows and released "Call It Like I See The
Album". Nickelodeon signed Big Time Rush to a recording deal in 2009,
concurrently with the television show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon has also
teamed up with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and original music. The
series' first single, "Big Time Rush" came out on November 29 on the
29th of November. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon the show first
broadcast in the U.S. in November 2009 up until the time it was released
worldwide. The song was played in a preview of the series for one hour and
serves as the current show's opening tune. Promo singles such as "City is
Ours", "Any Kind of Guy" and many more were released during the
show. Big Time Rush also covered the Play song "Famous" The song was
written by him. The song came out on iTunes on June 29 the 29th of June, 2010.
After its series premiere, another song, "Halfway There", was
released on iTunes on April 27 the 27th of April, 2010. They soon made it their
first charting track on the Billboard Hot 100. It was ranked at 93 thanks to
the digital sales. To launch their debut album, Big Time Rush released
"Till I Forget about You" on the 21st of September 2010. The album,
BTR was released on October 11 October 11, 2010. The album reached the top 3
spot on the Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies within its first week.
